Lost in the Trees / Found in the Forest
for the New Forest Park Authority
Lost in the Trees / Found in the Forest is a digital art project and a meditation on relating to nature with digital as a climate storytelling tool. Participants experienced increased commitment to taking environmental action, felt more connected to nature and enjoyed interactive digital component.
For the Awakening Festival 2023, I created a series of digital sculptures that celebrate the past of the New Forest and communicate the future via their Net Zero initiatives.
This experience format is a guided 2-hour walk blending nature connectedness theory and AR, mindfulness and ecosomatic practices, as well as climate insights with practical suggestions. It is modular and adjustable based on client needs.

"All of what you’ve shared about the participant feedback from this project is really useful and the technology, I think, is the hook. But also, I think you do have a good way of interrogating things and you have the people skills to be able to bring others with you, and tech is used as a medium. It’s nothing without you and the process you’ve developed to engage people."
